Purchase goods and services that are critical to the success of our business operations while positively impacting our profits by considering the total cost of ownership for the purchase of goods and services. Provide spend management to ensure the best use of company resources. Determine ROI for purchases, services, and company product lines. . Spend Analysis: Collect, cleanse, classify and analyze expenditure data with the purpose of decreasing procurement costs, improving efficiency, maximizing added value, and monitoring compliance. Provide this information in regular reports to management and other necessary personnel . Inventory Commodity Management: Develop a systematic approach to procuring items which optimizes the entire product acquisition sales, inventory usage cycle of procured items. . Strategic Sourcing: Continually improve and re-evaluate the purchasing activities of the company. o Procure good (both stock non-stock items) services (ie freight, warehouse, building maintenance) for the company, considering the following. . Assessment of a company's current spending . Assessment of the supply markets . Perform total cost of ownership analyses . Identification of suitable suppliers . Development of a sourcing strategy (where to purchase, considering demand and supply situations, while minimizing risk and costs) . Negotiation with suppliers . Maintain productive supplier relationships to ensure the quality of goods and services meet company needs. . Ongoing improvement of the supply chain . Track results and restart assessment o Rtstg. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred . 3-4 years experience in related field . Strong negotiating skills . Self-starter . Strong and effective communication interpersonal skills . Outstanding organization skills and attention to detail . Strong analytical mindset . Supply management experience . Familiar with manufacturing methods, procedures, quality control . Ability to establish meaningful vendor relationships . Budget expense tracking . Problem-solving and resolution skills . Working knowledge of Microsoft Office other common office technology , esp. Excel . MAS experience preferred . Proven experience as a purchasing agent or similar role . Demonstrate experience in negotiating pricing, terms, and conditions . Knowledge of market research, data analysis and purchasing best practices . Keep up to date on market trends and updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities . Excellent written verbal communications skills . Travel when necessary to inspect current and prospective vendor facilities . Work closely with accounting and accounts payables as needed .
