This Executive Assistant would be assisting the CEO of the company. This Executive Assistant would be privy to sensitive information, so confidentiality is a must. This is a temp to hire position for the Executive Assistant, depending on performance and compatibility within the company. . Serves as the focal point of initial contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the CEO. . Provides assistance and represents the CEO as appropriate in communicating with internal and external constituents. . Independently researches, prioritizes, and follows up on multiple incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive and/or confidential nature; determines appropriate course of action, referral, and/or response. . Works as liaison to the Board of Directors. . Manages a variety of special projects for the CEO, some of which may have institutional impact. . Participates in various committees and professional organizations. . Monitor, screen, respond to and distribute incoming communications . Receive and interact with incoming visitors . Interact with external clients . Coordinate project-based work . Review administrative practices and implement improvements where necessary. A Bachelor's is required . 3+ years experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role . Experienced in managing interactions with the Board members and other vital business contacts for CEO . Experience maintaining highest level of discretion and confidentiality . Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet . The ability to work and act independently, and to make and carry out decisions with minimal supervision. . The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. . Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead teams and projects, and work collaboratively.
