SLC Office Admin/Timekeeper
Job Summary:
RECON Engineering and Construction is a rapidly growing heavy industrial construction contractor that has been providing refractory, piping, rigging, specialty welding, and general contracting services since 1990. We are currently searching for a Admin / Timekeeper position to join our team to open a new office in Salt Lake City. RECON recognizes the growth and potential work opportunities in the Rocky Mountain Region across multiple industries. Salt Lake City is strategically located to service multiple industries and facilities within the region to minimize tooling and manpower dispatching.

The Administrative position would oversee the day to day office activities and work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers to support operations of the business unit. The Timekeeper position would be responsible for organizing and reporting weekly payroll reports to RECONs corporate office. This position would also require various project related duties for work performed at a facility. These duties may include, but are not limited to internal payroll, force reporting, cost tracking and reporting activities as well as client billing functions. Experience with TRACK and SAP is not required, but would be a plus.


Duties and Responsibilities:
:
Responsible for Rocky Mountain Region: UT, CO, ID, WY, Northern NV.
:
Act as first point of contact for all guests who come to the office.
:
Answer main phone incoming calls, determine callers needs and route to the appropriate department.
:
Demonstrate outstanding telephone etiquette and active listening skills
:
Maintain inventory of office supplies and notify Business Manager when items need to be restocked
:
Must be a motivated self:starter able to work effectively with all departments with limited supervision.
:
Implement and maintain inventory control of tooling at the office.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
:
Knowledge of business and management principles and practices
:
Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
:
Ability to perform all assigned tasks, work independently, and complete work on schedule.
:
Accurately perform work, properly identify data, and effectively prioritize workload in a fast:paced environment.
:
Ability to compare, contrast, and quality check own work and possess a keen attention to detail.
:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office utilities (Word, Excel, etc.) and general computer use.
:
Strong problem:solving skills and efficient management of time and resources.
:
Effective interpersonal and client communication skills (oral and written).
