Job Summary:
The primary focus of this position is to perform general labor for the rental department such as deliveries, installations and basic maintenance and repair of pump equipment.
Principal Responsibilities:
:Installs and ensure the efficient and safe operation of equipment, new or replacement parts, instruments or other components
:Examines and tests equipment, components and parts for defects to ensure proper functioning
:Disassembles broken or defective equipment to facilitate repair and reassemble equipment when repairs are complete
:Delivers and retrieves equipment for rental jobs as requested
:Assists in the loading and unloading of pumps and equipment for clients, sales and service personnel
:Cleans vehicles, equipment, tools and work areas as necessary
:Acts as an "emergency responder" to service, deliver or repair equipment as needed
:Interacts professionally and in collaboration with customer to determine job solutions and best course of action
:Makes decisions about installation of simple to complex pump and piping installations utilizing rental equipment
:Keeps accurate and timely records of equipment movement, installation progress, service schedules, customer interactions, and other paperwork as required for proper documentation of work performed

:Telephone and radio equipmentEducation and Experience:
:High School Diploma, required
:1 years recent experience with either diesel engine repairs/diagnosis, pump repairs, HDPE Fusion, electric submersible pump repair or electric motor repair), required
:Forklift certification required within 90 days of hire
:Valid driver's license; CDL preferred
:Recent experience with customer service, preferred
:Experience in rental/pump industry, preferred
