Qualis Corporation is seeking a Guidance Support Engineer (level IV) to perform engineering Advisory and Assistance Support (A&AS) functions in support of the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) missile development program under the oversight and guidance of the 746 TS Chief Analyst (Lead Developmental Test Organization (LDTO) guidance lead). The 746 TS provides inertial guidance test and evaluation (T&E) activities and oversight for the GBSD program to ensure that the next generation Air Force intercontinental ballistic missile meets all accuracy and reliability requirements. The 746 TS conducts tests, evaluates system and subsystem performance, coordinates and participates in T&E related events and provides expertise and oversight for customer-driven T&E efforts. This position is located at Hill AFB, UT.

Role and Responsibilities:

The 746 TS Hill AFB Guidance Support SE 4 will conduct technical reviews of program documents and provide technical input to LDTO documents. The SE 4 will perform liaison duties between the 746 TS and the LDTO, guidance team and GBSD Program Management Office (PMO) and its various panels, working groups and focus teams including, but not limited to the:

* Guidance Integrated Produce Team (IPT),

* Flight Test Working Group (WG),

* Reliability WG,

* Non-nuclear WG,

* Scientific Test and Analysis Techniques (STAT) WG.

In this role, the Guidance Support SE 4 will:

* Attend panel/working group meetings, telecons, scheduled activities and other panel events, relaying pertinent information to/from the LDTO guidance team.

* Identify and relay all GBSD guidance T&E activities and oversight opportunities suited for the 746 TS to the LDTO guidance team

* Coordinate all GBSD activities, requirements and program status with the LDTO guidance team to ensure full 746 TS awareness of and enable 746 TS support for GBSD PMO initiatives

* Coordinate all functions involving GBSD test data residing at and having access limited to Hill AFB. Perform data functions per LDTO guidance lead direction and oversight. Review contractor deliverables (test plans, test reports, etc.) and provide input to Quick Look Assessments, Quick Look Reports and Test Summary Briefings.

* Coordinate and provide status on 746 TS assignments directed by the GBSD PMO through the LDTO.

* Coordinate and provide status on all 746 TS activities and action items assigned through the LDTO by the GBSD PMO, panels working groups.

* Liaison between all panel/workgroup efforts and the LDTO guidance team to ensure 746 TS is equipped with information required to effectively perform assigned tasks and resolve issues.

Under the oversight of the LDTO guidance lead, additional tasks include:

* Supporting 746 TS LDTO program management activities including providing input to spend plans, spend plan updates, quarterly status reports, quarterly assessment updates, integrated test work breakdown structures and plans in support of GBSD PMO efforts.

* Supporting 746 TS LDTO test planning activities by coordinating reviews of contractor test plans, providing input on cost estimates, and coordinating and scheduling of test assets, facilities and other test resources.

* Coordinating 746 TS efforts in support of PMO directed testing of prototypes including shipping of assets, coordinating and scheduling reviews, reporting status and results.

* Coordinating and supporting 746 TS participation in Government witnessing of prototype tests.

* Supporting the organizing, scheduling, coordinating and executing of bi-annual Integrated Test Team meetings.

Education and Experience Qualifications

* Masters degree in related field and at least 10 years of experience required. May be substituted with Bachelors degree and additional years of experience

* Must have demonstrated T&E experience and PM experience.

* Guidance test and evaluation experience is required.

* Test data analysis experience is highly desired.

* Development of program level test documentation, especially TEMPs is highly desired.

* Must have ability to quickly understand the customers overall technical objectives and mission and provide effective solutions.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with customer interaction and presentation capabilities required.

* Must exemplify a dedication to achieving the mission of the 704th TSS as well as high standards of quality and excellence in performing the duties.

* Must be able to work effectively alone, unsupervised, or within a group

* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while being able to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.

* Must be willing to travel up to 10%.

* US Citizenship required.

* Must hold an active Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance.
