Position Summary:

The Seasonal Corporate Sales Representative is responsible for generating and maintaining existing business relationships by providing customer service and selling our products to business and industrial establishments or individuals with large volume requirements.

Pay Rate Hourly $19.00

Location: Salt Lake City

Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, business directories, Internet Web sites, and other sources.

Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone, US mail and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services.

Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.

Provides product samplers to qualified customers on request.

Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.

Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
Prepares reports of business transactions.
Works with outside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.

Works with inside sales/customer service staff on orders/artwork, customer service issues, etc.
Manages and executes their own sales
Other duties as assigned

• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, margin, and volume.

Critical Skills and Experience:
• Associate’s degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working Conditions:
The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The employee will also carry catalogs, move equipment at trade shows, carry company literature and samples. Occasionally visit print shop.
