**Training Specialist - BWX Technologies, Inc. (BWSR LLC) - Idaho Falls, ID**
BWSR, LLC performs decontamination and decommissioning (D&D) and facility upgrade construction services under a multiple year contract. The successful candidate is required to have experience in developing, implementing an administering nuclear training and qualification programs which include: long rang training plan, qualification cards and examinations, both written and practical.
**Job Duties:**
+ Provide technical expertise in the development and delivery of training.
+ Maintain training records, lesson plans, and schedule employee-training classes.
+ Prepare lesson plans, course outlines and presentations in accordance with training organization guidelines.
+ Evaluate training programs to ensure requirements are met and the programs are accomplishing the goals of preparing employees to perform their jobs.
+ Observe work to determine the effectiveness of training.
+ Position requires entry into radiological area.
+ Other duties as assigned by management.
**Job Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline with a minimum of 7 years industrial or nuclear training and/or teaching experience. Certification as a Master Training Specialist in the U.S. Navy is a plus.
+ A current Department of Energy (DOE) is a plus. MUST be able to obtain and maintain a DOE L clearance. U.S. citizenship required; no dual citizenship.
+ Previous experience in the nuclear or radiological field desirable.
+ Must obtain and maintain Radiological Controls and other qualifications are directed.
+ Selected candidate must relocate to the Idaho Falls, ID area.
Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or matter. Position requires U.S. Citizenship (with no dual citizenship) and ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance which involves an extensive criminal and financial background investigation, drug test and previous employment reference verifications.
