Progrexion technology and services are used by Lexington Law, an independently:operated law firm, and , its wholly:owned subsidiary. The Accounts Payable Clerk position at Progrexion will be responsible for payments and expense control through receiving, processing, verifying, reconciling invoices, and credit cards. Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to paymentPrioritize invoices according to payment terms and billing cyclesPay vendors via check, ACH, or wire while monitoring discount opportunities and observing possible vendor creditsAssist in month end closing to ensure accurate expenses and financial statementsMaintain accurate and up:to:date vendor contact and payment information to ensure prompt payments and accurate 1099 tax formsRespond to all vendor inquiries promptly and professionally and reconcile any vendor statement discrepanciesMaintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practicesAssist with other projects as neededAssociateA?s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.A/P and Great Plains accounting software experience preferred.Ability to use MS Office with proficiency in MS Excel.Ability to communicate and work with all levels of management in the company.
