We are seeking a full:time, personable Benefits Assistant who is proficient in managing employee benefits, data collection and analysis. We are really looking for that one individual who is innovative, creative, and forward thinking to provide top:notch support to our Human Resources Manager and our entire organization of 800+ dedicated professionals. Valley Behavioral Health has recently reduced turnover by 80, increased employee engagement scores, invested in state of the art recruiting tools and added several advanced and focused training opportunities for new and current staff as well as an in:depth leadership training program. Serve as resource for employees on benefits related questionsConduct benefits orientation and explain benefits enrollmentMaintain database with employee data and metricsOversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.Advises departments on FMLA, disability, documentation, onboardingResponds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.Administers benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, pension plans, employee assistance.Contracts with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as temporary employees, search firms, or relocation services.BachelorA?s Degree from an accredited four:year college or University 2+ years of experience in HR preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel with the ability to learn new software programs quicklyExceptional customer:service skills demonstrating an ability to maintain a friendly, professional disposition when interacting with our staff as well as the public.Ability to focus and prioritize multiple tasks efficientlyDemonstrate strict confidentiality Pro:active team focusValley is the leading behavioral health innovator in the Inter:mountain West.
