The Manager of Human Resources for Park City Mountain is located in Park City, Utah. This role is responsible for providing business partnership to managers and directors across the client groups of Mountain Segment Base Area Operations, Mountain Planning and Corporate Groups (Finance, Marketing, IT, Communications, Health and Safety). The role will support key stakeholders to improve workforce planning, talent management, engagement, organizational and leadership capability, drive change and "one team" culture, define organizational needs, determine training and development needs, resolve employee issues, and contribute to the achievement of business operating plan objectives. This individual must possess the ability to build and maintain strong relationships, navigate the matrix, quickly grasp the business objectives and strategies of multiple clients groups, and leverage human resources capabilities to support the achievement of those objectives.
:Partner with client group leaders to maximize organizational effectiveness. Leverage expertise in organization design, team development, talent/workforce planning, and change management to reinforce a "One Team" culture that optimizes the passion and potential of our employees
:Lead the annual Performance Management and Compensation processes for client groups in conjunction with Talent Development and Total Rewards teams, including data preparation and insights through analysis, creating presentations and facilitating leadership meetings on performance and succession plan calibration
:Partner with the business and Talent Development to proactively identify opportunities to address/build out leadership capabilities within the sr. manager and manager populations
:Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure rigor on recruitment efforts for operational and strategic workforce planning aligned with both immediate and succession plan goals
:Counsel and/or coach employees and managers regarding employee relations issues including performance management, facilitation of formal/informal complaints to resolution, discipline and/or terminations in line with local culture and the business and legal environment
:Serve as an active member of the HR Managers Forum: great practice sharing, collecting and sharing feedback on improvement opportunities, staying connected with business initiatives outside of Park City
:Assist HR and business project Teams in the development, documentation and recommendation of continuous improvement of people processes, procedures or programs to deliver innovative solutions to meet client group needs (ie: Re:Imagine Onboarding, etc.)
:Leverage Employee Appreciation strategy with leaders in client groups to increase engagement.
:Partner to continue building out KPIs, metrics, and reporting that empowers leaders to better understand workforce trends (attrition, engagement, retention, workplace practices that enhance the employee experience)
:Bachelor degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience
:Minimum 6 years as an HR Generalist/Business Partner with minimum 2 years supporting high level business leaders.
:Thorough knowledge of human resources practices, procedures and laws and regulations
:Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment in decision:making
:Excellent presentation skills: polished, concise, catered messages to different audiences
:Ability to build strong relationships and problem solve with managers and
