Property Specialist
The USU Research Foundation is seeking a Property Specialist to be responsible for assisting with the management of all corporate- and customer-owned property, materials, and equipment by:
+ Using system tools to manage and communicate property information and establish/maintain property records
+ Coordinating with programs, finance, contracts, purchasing, and receiving departments on a regular basis
+ Assisting the Property Office with property plan development and the execution of transfer, management, acceptance, and disposition of all property located on the site
+ Maintaining accountability records for property used in contract performance
+ Assisting in calibration process coordination
+ Receiving, delivering, transporting, picking up, disposing, storing and shipping supplies and materials
+ Using property control technology and performing physical inventory of materials and equipment
+ Participating in the scheduling and planning of inventory and reconciliation projects
+ Performing other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
+ Minimum of three (3) years of experience in property management, stock control, stock inventory, or supply techniques
+ Must demonstrate a wide and comprehensive understanding of property management principles, processes, concepts, and regulations
+ Understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations
+ Ability to lift 50 pounds
+ Ability to obtain an appropriate security clearance
+ Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment and be able to follow verbal or written instructions
+ Must be customer focused and possess: (1) strong organizational skills; (2) strong interpersonal skills to work with all employee levels, outside representatives, and management; (3) strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings; and (4) ability to resolve complex issues that require evaluation and interpretation
+ Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work effectively to meet changing business needs.
