Job Description
We are looking for a successful Sales Representative for our Varex Advanced Digital Image Acquisition Software Business, located in greater Chicago area.
:Selling complex medical software applications to medical device companies / OEMs or end users (hospitals and imaging centres)
:Establish and maintain cooperation with international customers and distributors
:Development and acquisition of new customers and business opportunities through market and competitive analysis
:Technical and product:specific support for Varex Key Account Management
:Collection and maintenance of sales:relevant data and detailed documentation of sales processes
:Close collaboration with Marketing and Product Management departments
:Preparation of tender documentation and participation in tenders
:Conduct customer discussions and sales negotiations
:Participation on exhibitions, congresses and customer events
:Completed economic or engineering studies
:Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) and 5 years of related experience or Masters Degree with 3 years of related experience.
:Several years of experience in sales and distribution of the medical technology industry
:Solid business understanding
:Open and communicative personality
:Strong assertiveness, initiative, responsibility
:Self:disciplined and reliable approach to the job

If you are interested in this responsible and internationally oriented position, you should have a technical degree or a comparable qualification as well as several years of experience in the distribution of OEM products : preferably in medical technology.

A distinctive customer:orientation paired with a high level of commitment and technical understanding, excellent communication skills, a systematic and flexible way of working, entrepreneurial thinking characterize you as an experienced sales professional. In addition, a professional approach to international business partners, understanding and respect for their cultural standards. Extensive travel required.

:Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E:mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
:Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
Typical Education and Experience:
:Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) and 5 years of related experience or Masters Degree with 3 years of related experience.
